At no point in time did I or any component of the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra (marketing, finance, IATSE crew, etc) feel any breakdown of communication. The rider was absolutely crystal clear. The uncompromisingly friendly demeanor of every aspect of 5XD is a true rarity and a true gem.
Every aspect of what you present, on and off stage, is genuine and uncontrived. What you offer your venues, audiences and orchestras is a true reflection of a well-planned and executed show. Your troupe is pleasant and professional... I almost felt at times you were accomodating me (due to your all being so darned nice. A thrilled and happy production manager! Thank you for what you do!

CD: I think I enjoyed the script the most, it was well written.
LW: I loved the costumes. The little set changes are perfect for this sort of venue. You really couldn’t have anything more elaborate without obliterating the orchestra. I thought it was a uniquely conceived and professionally executed production. The singers and staff were extremely amiable and very pleasant to work with – if only all incoming groups could be so pleasant!! I also enjoyed the orchestral interludes... especially the one with the oozing trumpet solo? I also thought that putting in commercial jingles was fascinating! Who would have thought a commercial could be so entertaining? I usually mute them and don’t care… The arrangements and the intonation between the singers were fabulous. I liked the fact that you talked to each other during the program.
