“RICHIE’S HOUSE OF JAZZ”
featuring Richie Cole & Five By Design
Alto sax jazz legend RICHIE COLE and the American vocal quintet, FIVE BY DESIGN have collaborated on “Richie’s House of Jazz.”
Launched at the Dakota Jazz Club in Minneapolis, the project celebrates Cole’s 40-yar career with Buddy Rich, Lionel Hampton, Eddie Jefferson, Doc Severinsen and The Tonight Show Band, Sonny Stitt, Art Pepper, Freddie Hubbard, Nancy Wilson, and The Manhattan Transfer.
“Richie’s House of Jazz” features seven Cole compositions arranged by Five By Design, including Richie’s House of Jazz, Bossa Nova Eyes, D.C. Farewell, Waltz For A Rainy Be-Bop Evening, Eddie Jefferson, It’s The Same Thing Everywhere, and New York Afternoon.
“Richie’s House of Jazz” is available with symphony orchestras, performing art series, and select clubs and festivals.
